Clean Eating..
Where have you been all my life? I found myself saying almost every day "I feel blooooated". If you know me you might be laughing to yourself, because you just read that in my whiney voice. I SAID IT ALL THE TIME, because I felt bloated all the time. YUCK! I had to make a change. That folks, is how I found clean eating.
It is not a DIET so lets just get that out of the way. It is a lifestyle. A positive, feel good way of life. It will take discipline and some getting used to but then again doesn't all change? Before I continue..
Lets not forget I AM NOT A NUTRITIONIST. I have learned my info from the internet & social media & I am still learning. I do what works for ME. I also exercise on the daily (usually 1-2 hrs) because I want to gain lean muscle. I eat accordingly.

GROCERY LIST :
This is the first official (confusing) step. I found myself searching the hashtag #eatclean on instagram and sorting through recipes in order to find the ingredients I was going to need to make this change! This took me awhile. SO... because I'm like totes nice I made you guys the list that I wish I would have had!
coconut oil, almonds, eggs, brown rice, quinoa, sweet potatoes, cucumber, squash, peppers, red onion, mushrooms, scallions, cilantro, parsley, bananas, kiwi, unsweetend cocoa powder, raw honey, avocado, dates, flax/chia seeds, greek yogurt, lean turkey, fat free cottage cheese, frozen berries, almond milk, soy milk, almond butter, peanut butter, coconut flour, oat flour (made from organic oats), edemami, carrots, sugar snap peas, spinach, kale, tomatoes, garlic, lean turkey sausage, lean turkey bacon, salmon, tilapia, Ezekiel bread, black beans, chick peas, organic mustard, asparagus, green beans, broccoli, cauliflower, diet green tea & coffee. If your interested in my protein shakes & post workout snacks you will also need chocolate or vanilla protein powder.
I'm sure I've missed things, but that is a good starting list. And if you are interested in my recipes, these are good things to have on hand! If you are overwhelmed, thats cool. I WAS! .. Like coconut oil, almond butter, flax seed? I didn't know where I was even going to find that stuff. I bet your thinking the same thing! That is why I have also made a list to help you track down these items. Obvi you know you can find veggies, fruits, dairy & meats at your local grocer. The odd items you will find at Wegmans & Trader Joes! I have also found things at Target (sound heavenly music..ahhhhhh) like Mara Natha almond butter, my personal fav. For all of my local followers, The Country Store or The Cheese Shop in Van Wert carries a ton of gluten free and organic alternatives as well as the coconut flour & organic oats that I mentioned above! As far as coconut oil, you can get that just about anywhere anymore!
Now that I have either answered your questions
or throughly confused you..Happy Grocery Shopping!
Marbie xo.
