For those of you that haven't seen this.. There's bacon in the middle of that pancake, hense the rectangular shape!
What you'll need:
Pancake batter (mix accordingly)
Bacon
First:
Cook your bacon, I used turkey.
If you have a container as pictured below it helps make this processes easier but isn't required. If you have one, mix your batter together and pour it in. If you don't have one you can also use a piping bag or a plastic bag and cut the corner!
For this next step I placed the bacon on the pan and put the batter beside the bacon so that I could make sure that the batter was long enough for the bacon. Then I used tongs to pick the bacon up and place it on top of the batter!
I let it cook on medium heat for a minute until I added the next layer of batter on top of the bacon!
The picture above is showing one that has been flipped (left) and one (right) that had its second layer of batter before it got flipped! I flipped them every 2 minutes! Or when you see the batter bubble!
I trimmed the excess of the sides to make them prettier! Dip in syrup and enjoy! They put a smile on my hubby's face that's for sure!
Vday breakfast for your Mr. ?!
Marbie xo.
