Outfit making - Changing of the seasons

I've been outfit making since I knew how to change my own clothes. My mom (so I've been told) would let me change 2,3,4.. times a day. That snowballed into what I've become today. A fashion addict. A collector of clothing and all things wearable! So thank you momma, for letting me blossom on my own. She knew from an earlier age I was "one of a kind".

Being from lovely PA, we are fortunate (or maybe not ha!) to get all 4 seasons! Seeing how we are already into March, spring is right around the corner. But until we get to those warmer days, we have to transition from the colder ones! And what a great time for clothing wearing! You get to mix your winter articles in with your favorite spring pieces. I personally can't wait to break out the skirts, although I need a tan first! Here are some fun outfits that feature winter and spring pieces. I wanted to showcase a sequin skirt because they are all over the internet, magazines, and pintetest!

I have three basics looks I always go for:
SASSY. Because I hate the word "classy". I think there is a certain stigma that surrounds that word that I just don't fit into. But I certainly am Sassy. The skirt- Wet Seal ($5). Silk tank- J.crew. Blazer- Candies. NEW! Black snake skin peep toe flats- Lands End. Statement necklace- J. crew.

BOHO. Because it's always a comfy choice. I love love the contrast between something frumpy and something dressy. I think it looks so effortless. I paired it with the combat boots to go along with the oversized cable knit sweater from Forever 21. Boots- Candies.
EDGY! My personal fav. I've always reached for black instead of navy or brown and can honesty say I barely own anything in those two colors. Black is the new black people. It will never go out of style. It looks great on everyone. Make it your BFF ladies, you will thank me later.
The jacket- Target. The muscle tank- Juicy Couture. The statement necklace- Express. I realized I didn't show a shoe in this picture but the options are endless! White Vans would be cute for spring, or loafer.. Perhaps a leopard loafer! Because we all know that leopard is a NEUTRAL! And because my favorite style is edgy, I also made a GOLD version of this little baby...
All gold everything! That's my motto peeps! Skirt- Target. Loafers- Target. Statement necklace- Forever 21. Clutch- Victoria Secret.

I hope you enjoyed my first outfit post! I hope to do more of these. Remember you can always add these outfits to your pintetest page! I'd love some feedback so please don't be shy!

Happy Fat Tuesday!
